A campus built for living and learning
Set in the cool heights of the Nilgiris, our campus pairs heritage architecture with modern laboratories, a well-stocked library, and spaces for faith, sport, music and rest.

A home away from home
Our residential life is organised into dormitories cared for by dedicated matrons, where students live together by their respective houses.
- Junior Dorm houses students from Standards I to IV.
- Senior Dorm accommodates students from Standards V to XII.
- Bunk beds with matching eiderdowns, overseen by house prefects.
- Cupboards for clothing and lockers for personal belongings.

Where curiosity is put to the test
The school has well-equipped Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratories that bring the sciences to life through hands-on enquiry.
Our computer lab has been updated with the latest machines, and Computer Science is taught from Standard I — giving every student a confident, early foundation in technology.

A reading habit for life
The school library is well-equipped with a wide selection of books available to staff and students alike.
Magazines and two daily newspapers help students build the habit of reading the morning news and staying well-informed about the world around them. A multimedia PC with the latest resources is easily accessible to children of all ages.
A place of quiet at the heart of school
Built in 1902, the tranquil Gothic-style chapel sits in the central part of the school building, affirming faith in God and glorifying Him in all we do.
Kept open at all times and accessible to anyone, it is a place of quiet for private prayers and community worship — a still point that has anchored generations of St Hilda's students.

Health and care, always close at hand
The health of every child is carefully supervised, with adequate arrangements made for their care and nursing during times of sickness.
Our infirmary gives parents the assurance that, even far from home, their children are watched over with attention and warmth.

Where sportsmanship is the real prize
The 200m playground includes a gallery used by students for sports events, and inter-house competitions are held here throughout the year.
From basketball and karate to table tennis and athletics, our programme teaches that participation and effort matter more than winning alone — lessons in resilience and sportsmanship that last a lifetime.

The sound of a St Hilda's education
Music is a very important part of education at St Hilda's. Individual and group tuition is provided by specialist teachers.
From the chapel choir to the concert stage, music gives our students confidence, discipline and joy — a tradition that traces back to the very early years of the school, when girls passed Trinity College of Music examinations with honours.
