Life beyond the classroom
From carol services to championship courts, St Hilda's is alive with celebration, service and achievement — and a global family of alumni who carry its spirit into the world.
Our calendar of events
A rich rhythm of cultural, spiritual and community life keeps the school year full of colour and meaning.
Champions on the court
Basketball runs deep in the St Hilda's story. Our teams have earned a proud reputation across the Nilgiris, bringing home titles and lifting the school's name high.
It is a tradition built on the values our physical-education programme holds dear — discipline, teamwork and the belief that effort and sportsmanship matter more than winning alone.

Kartiki Gonsalves
An alumna of the Batch of 2004, Kartiki directed The Elephant Whisperers — the first Indian production to win the Oscar for Best Documentary Short Film.
Her achievement embodies what St Hilda's has believed since 1895: that careful nurturing and ethical guidance can draw out the individual gifts of every child — and that a leader is born in each of them.
